Talent cloud company iCIMS has made its first acquisition of 2022 with Candidate.ID Ltd., according to an announcement on Tuesday.
Candidate.ID provides marketing automation to channel, nurture and recruit talent.
The acquisition strengthens the Holmdel-based iCIMS platform with a marketing automation platform specifically designed for recruiters.
“Since leading Marketo, I have experienced first-hand the transformative power of marketing automation,” said Steve Lucas, CEO of iCIMS. “We are the first company to bring this power at scale to the recruiting world with Candidate.ID.”
Terms of the agreement were not announced.
With Candidate.ID, iCIMS customers will be able to better “know” and qualify talent through unique lead scoring, improve efficiency by re-engaging their existing candidate database, and offer more at scale through automated and personalized recruitment marketing campaigns. By engaging the most converting candidates at scale, talent acquisition teams can significantly reduce their cost and time to fill key positions.
New iCIMS data shows job postings are up 44%, while job applications are flat, compared to January 2021. This means fewer candidates are available to fill more vacancies. At the same time, candidates expect more from potential employers, including personalized communications that leverage modern tools like video, social media and text messaging.
iCIMS says it is tackling these tough market conditions and new challenges customers are facing with continued innovation and cutting-edge advanced solutions in the end-to-end iCIMS Talent Cloud.
