Immensitas raised $2.3 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by growˣ ventures, Artha Venture Fund and DSP Investment Managers. LogX Ventures and Atrium Angels also participated in the round.

Founded in 2019 by Subra Krishnan, Rinku Ghosh and Praveen DS, Immenistas operates Lemnisk, a marketing automation solution based on a customer data platform. It enables companies to assemble customer data across disparate data sources and activate it across multiple marketing channels and deliver real-time, personalized marketing communication to potential customers.

Immensitas had raised a first round of funding from Artha Venture Fund and LogX Ventures in July this year. It will use the freshly injected capital to strengthen Lemnisk’s capabilities and product offerings and to expand into new markets.

“This new cycle allows us to continue building on our ambitious vision to deliver a platform that enables marketers to not only centralize customer data, but also quickly act on real-time intelligence. Unlike other players who seek to remove and replace large marketing clouds, our approach is to help customers get better results from their existing investments,” said Subra Krishnan, CEO of Lemnisk.

According to the startup, some of the platform’s capabilities include connectors to organize siled marketing data sources to create a real-time customer view; orchestrating individual customer journeys across the ecosystem of marketing tools using a machine learning engine; and create personalized experiences for every user across all marketing channels.

“We were very impressed with Lemnisk’s data-driven strategy to develop their product. This stands in stark contrast to the existing marketing technology ecosystem which has taken a channel-centric approach and is now trying to reorganize itself around data,” said Sheetal Bahl, partner, growˣ ventures.

Global Marketing Automation Software Market was estimated at USD 3.6 Billion in 2020 and is projected to reach USD 11.46 Billion by 2027, growing at a CAGR of 17.67%. With smartphone penetration reaching 31.8% in the country, India has over 439.42 million smartphone users. All of these smartphone users are generating massive amounts of data which is a treasure trove for marketers and advertisers who manage to piece it together to form a complete picture of their customers.
