The purpose of this short term, high impact contract position will be to support the Marketing and Communications team on the Made in Cape Town project. Candidates will be supervised by the Project Communications Team Leader while working independently to deliver what is required. The potential nominee will support a digital and traditional media campaign.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support marketing communications and stakeholder engagement teams
  • Desk and phone search
  • Data entry and database maintenance
  • Research and generate social media content opportunities
  • Update website content (WordPress) and public facing content sharing (social media accounts)
  • Support the team in the launch of new initiatives (Interviews/Conferences)
  • May perform additional marketing/communications duties upon request
  • Support for project administration, as needed
