Look sharp! A very exciting opportunity for a designer focused on branding has arisen and we are looking for a design superstar! We have a fully remote opportunity at a fabulous branded boutique agency for a talented senior graphic designer to join their creative studio. This is a unique opportunity to work on beautiful, aesthetically-aware brand identities and layouts, while providing the designer with access to high-quality work from a range of clients, in using different channels and deployments.

You will work and collaborate with a very supportive team, supporting them on a multitude of design projects, from interiors, major brand identities, financial reports to the tiniest changes on a stationery. You will be expected to comfortably come up with your own concepts for new brands and also work with existing ICs to develop work for established clients. Your portfolio should demonstrate your skills in thinking, branding, designing for print and the web. You must have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills and a passion for high-end design. Show us your well-crafted portfolio to help close the deal!

Note: This role is remote, but you must be based in Johannesburg or Cape Town.

Terms
The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Diploma/Qualification in Visual Communication/Graphic Design
  • At least seven years of experience in an agency environment
  • Good time management skills, used to working to deadlines
  • Creativity and intelligence
  • A good sense of detail and precision in your work
  • The ability to self-manage and self-motivate as you will be working remotely
  • Knowledge and experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Adobe XD are essential)
  • Able to reproduce your work with exposure and the ability to send artwork to print
  • Good PowerPoint skills and exposure to MS Word
  • Exposure to the digital realm of concept design is always an advantage.
